Good to know
Answers before you hand over the keys
What identification do I need?
Bring a valid UK photocard driving licence, or an accepted photo ID plus a recent proof of address. Our team will confirm what is required when arranging the handover.
Can I be paid cash for a scrap vehicle?
No. Cash payments for scrap metal are prohibited. We pay securely by bank transfer.
Can you collect a non-running car?
Yes, in many cases. Tell us whether the car has keys, rolls freely and is accessible to a transporter so we can plan the right collection.
What happens to the DVLA paperwork?
We explain the handover process and, where eligible, issue the appropriate end-of-life documentation. The registered keeper remains responsible for ensuring DVLA notification is completed.
